What is Wellness Coaching?

To get an understanding of what Wellness Coaching is about, we need to look at the term wellness. Wellness is the integration of the body, mind, and spirit − the appreciation that everything you do, think, feel, and believe, has an impact on your state of health. Wellness is a process − a developing awareness that there is no end point, but that health and happiness are possible in each moment, here and how.

Wellness Coaching starts with the premises that every person is unique and whole and the Coach assists the client to discover his/her infinite possibilities on a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual level.

A Wellness Coach will help you determine the areas of your lifestyle, attitudes and behaviours that you are most motivated to change, help you create a wellness action plan to create the necessary change, and then motivate you and keep you accountable for reaching your goals of increased health and well-being.

Sanga Wellness offers Wellness Coaching and Training to individuals and the corporate environment. Our coaching is based on the Wellness Inventory, a whole person assessment and life balancing program.

"When training is combined with coaching, individuals increased their productivity by an average of 88% as compared to 22% with training alone."- Public Personnel Management, 1997 study. Our Wellness Coaching is available in-person or telephonically.

We have partnered with The Institute for Life Coaching to offer the best international coach services and training in South Africa. The training is  accredited with the International Coach Federation (ICF).
